Luma uses one main gesture and gives immediate feedback through the crossword. You can understand the basics in a single puzzle, then choose whether to explore faster modes or the vocabulary system.
Touch the first letter, drag through the remaining letters in order, and release to submit. You can begin anywhere on the wheel and change direction as the word requires.
A valid grid answer fills its spaces. Other accepted words can count as bonus finds and earn coins.
Crossing answers reveal letters in unsolved words. Look at their positions, try common endings, and shuffle your mental view of the wheel before spending a hint.
Hints reveal one letter at a time. They are designed to restart your reasoning rather than remove the whole puzzle.
Found words are saved to your bank, where you can read definitions and mark favorites. Crick also shows a short review when words become due.
Review is not required to unlock the next puzzle. It is an optional loop for players who want the vocabulary they encounter to last beyond the board.

Not in the classic campaign. Only timed challenge uses a clock: you start with 60 seconds, and each word you find adds time back.
Coins pay for hints. You earn them by playing and finding bonus words, and you can top up with an optional short ad or a coin pack.
